The market rewards responsible companies. Don’t be a social and environmental laggard. Where does your company rank? Grab an edge with CK Ranker.

CK Ranker is the 1st app that lets companies assess their sustainability performance and rank themselves against the world’s biggest and best performing companies. It is the creation of Corporate Knights Inc., a media and research company that has ranked the sustainability performance of the world’s largest companies for more than a decade.

In Canada, our Best 50 Corporate Citizens ranking is a much-anticipated annual event, while our Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations list has become one of the most respected annual rankings of its kind in the world. With each, 12 key performance indicators (KPIs) are used to assess the resource productivity, diversity, sustainability commitment, safety record and accountability of more than 2,000 publicly traded companies. Together, these indicators offer a picture of the most environmentally and socially responsible companies on the planet.

But where do the rest of companies – small- and medium-sized businesses that are public or private, as well as large private companies – rank within the universe of publicly traded giants? Knowing where you stand relative to a competitor or within an industry is strategically important in a world of growing resource scarcity and heightened environmental and social awareness among customers, investors and government leaders.

This is why Corporate Knights created CK Ranker. We want any company to have the ability to rank itself relative to our Best 50 or Global 100 universe of corporations. As an added bonus, companies can also measure themselves against the corporations that make up the S&P 500. Once downloaded and launched, this cleverly designed mobile app walks users through a series of simple steps designed to match your company information with our 12 KPIs. Users need only answer what they can, though the more information provided the more accurate a company’s relative ranking.
